Midwesterners’ answers will be self-identifying.
Recently we played Euchre for the first time since 2018. The first game was a shutout! Apparently, that was a practice round to remember how to play the game because we were able to win the next two games. We have many friends from the Midwest that are currently visiting The Valley that we could play Euchre every weekend. I see this as an opportunity to keep practicing my card skills.
It's a great reminder that we have to USE our learned skills or we forget how to use them to their fullest. This is especially true for those who have been “trained” on Lean, Agile, Kata, or Six Sigma tools. Find a way to incorporate your continuous improvement skills into your daily work or personal life to keep them fresh.
